The service
The-Snip is a searchable knowledge base for code snippets, saved API calls and Markdown docs, with REST and MCP access for AI agents. Team workspaces add a review-and-approval workflow.
Your account
You're responsible for your credentials and your workspace API keys. Keys act with your workspace's permissions — revoke any key you no longer trust from Settings → API keys.
Your content
Your content is yours. You grant us only the license needed to host, display and serve it back to you and your agents. We never use your content to train AI models.
Acceptable use
No unlawful content, and no abuse of the API or MCP surface (rate limits and write quotas apply). We may suspend accounts that endanger the service or other tenants.
Plans & billing
Payments are processed by Stripe. Plans bill monthly or annually; you can switch plans or cancel anytime from the billing portal. Downgrading never deletes your items.
Availability
The service is provided "as is". There is no SLA on the Free plan.
Liability
Our liability is capped at the fees you paid in the last 12 months.
Termination
You can delete your account at any time — export your data first (docs as .md on every plan; full Markdown/JSON export on paid plans).
Changes to these terms
If these terms change materially, we'll note it here with a new date.
