- What counts as an item?
- A snippet, a saved API call, a Markdown doc, or a saved webpage. Tags and collections are unlimited on every plan.
- What happens when I hit 25 items on Free?
- Nothing breaks. Your base stays fully searchable and readable — you just can't add item 26 until you upgrade or delete something.
- What is the MCP server?
- MCP (Model Context Protocol) is how agents like Claude Code and Cursor talk to tools. Point your agent at your workspace's MCP endpoint with an API key and it can search your base and file new snippets back — humans review what becomes canon. Reads are free — any agent can search the base on the Free plan. Every Free workspace gets 5 free agent writes (review-gated); unlimited agent writes (creating and updating items, and creating collections) are part of Pro & Team, $8/user/mo.
- Do agents need their own seats?
- No. Agents authenticate with workspace API keys, not seats. You pay per human.
- How does annual billing work?
- Pay for 10 months, get 12. Pro & Team is $80 per person per year. Switch cycles or cancel anytime from the billing portal.
- Can I take my data with me?
- Yes — docs export as .md on every plan, and paid plans export the whole base as .md or .json anytime, including right before you cancel. Downgrading never deletes your items.
